The location here is amazing, just a short walk away from Titanic the Artifact Exhibition Museum.

Fabulous views over the mountains and Lauterbrunnen from our room on 4th floor. Room itself in good order, albeit a little dated. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the peace and quiet - no traffic noise - only church and cow bells! Evening meals good value and quality. Staff friendly, nothing too much trouble. Totally relaxed atmosphere, hotel in a bit of a time warp, but a pleasant one - as with some other hotels visited in Wengen.

Shower fine but difficult to get out of bath if you have mobility problems

Nice stay, we were there for 1 day. The staff was excellent and amiable, everything was very comfortable. The hotel offered a more than adequate and enjoyable breakfast with fresh fruit and sausage if desired, as example...

This place has a fantastic location that is an easy walk to Ripley's Believe it or Not, and the lovely area was thoroughly enjoyed.

The units are big and heated with a stunning view of the jungfrau. Thanks a lot for the stay in this place - would stay here again.

We found the room quaint, slightly old but very well kept up. The room and surroundings were quiet and the breakfast outstanding. The service at breakfast was very good, the staff very happy and went out of their way to provide efficient service

I thought the hotel was lovely, and thorougly enjoyed my stay here. The views down into the Lauterbrunnen Valley are quite amazing. The food was excellent and the staff were really great. I highly recommend eating the wonderful dinners at the hotel as well, I couldn't find value like this elsewhere in Wengen. I also really liked my balcony - it comes with a comfortable lounger and fabulous views.

I booked a single room, which was very nicely appointed. The only drawback was that it also came with a small single bed, and I feel that the room was big enough to accommodate a slightly bigger bed which would have been much more comfortable. Also, the hotel charges a high fee for internet/Wi-Fi access ... I feel that this should be complimentary for hotel guests (other places I stayed in Switzerland offered this free of charge).

The rooms here are clean, spacious, and come with updated bathrooms.

Very friendly staff both in reception and the restaurant, who recognise guests individually very quickly. Clearly a hotel which has many reguarly returning visitors, and one can see why. The slightly old-fashioned decor (heavily patterned carpets etc.) actually makes a pleasant contrast to the clinical feel of many modern hotels. Although the hotel iitself has only a basement sauna (not tried), there is free access to the excellent facilities at the Silverhorn hotel by the station.

Some stronger reading light needed in my room - it was difficult to read there in the evenings.

everything was good, I stayed in other hotels in switzerland at the same price, but this one was the best. staff was very kind, place is cozy, room was excellent.

Great and incredible location near Grindelwald, cable car station, railway station, and village center. Rich breakfast with a wide spread. Truly memorable days at this classy hotel.

This hotel is delightful. This is my 4th. visit. The setting is stunning with marvellous mountain views, and the service and facilities are superb. The staff are so helpful & friendly and I know many people who return there every year because it couldn't be better.
